On
many occasions, I have heard people saying that whatever is destined in life, it will happen accordingly. This
statement sometimes in the form of assertion from these people is completely baseless. Your destiny will
definitely take you from one shore to the other shore, from one phase to the
other, from best to worst or vice-versa, but if you want to achieve more than
something ordinary, you can do so by increasing your efforts and in this
process, you can change your destiny. It is in your hand. How you exercise your
choice and how intelligent is the choice you select, your rate of success
depends on the same. You come across many things in your life as per the
destiny. This is a fact. But how you meet and accrue the benefit, it depends on
the power of your willpower. By your determination, perseverance, integrity and
stubborn mental frame, you can change the intensity of the bad situation supposed
to which you are destined. You can even change the bad to a favorable one
provided you are really very serious in your efforts. Our religious beliefs
lead us to opine that omnipotent power of God makes rain to drop to the earth.
This rainfall creates a soothing effect to all living and non-living
beings. The effect of good rain causes
seeds to bloom, get nourished and produce grain for the benefits of human beings
and even animals. Similarly, our mind is the abode of various desires like
different seeds. These desires grow, take shape to express and fulfill the same
as per the norms stipulated by the societies. When thoughts provoke our desires
and grow as seeds and produce good qualities of thoughts, our mind will be
rendered with a fragrant garden full of blooming flowers. This is only possible when your thoughts yield effective and moral
desires. The tremendous rainfall sometimes making lives of human beings
dangerous due to flood, but the same rainfall if challenged though proper and
scientific method of harvesting, it can make the avid and infertile lands into
fruitful cultivation. By good thoughts and intelligent choice of every opportunity,
each and every situation can be converted from a bad to a good one.
If
you want to succeed in your life, don’t depend on your luck alone. You have to
understand the pattern of movement, which is happening in your life. It is
almost like a forward and lateral movement
of a two wheeler on a road. The fuel is
instrumental to push the vehicle forward, whereas the driver controls the
lateral movement. This forward push is
termed as destiny and the lateral effort is your choice. If your choice is to
drive the vehicle after drinking heavily or in a fidgety manner, what will be
the consequence, anyone can understand.
Contrarily, if the driver is agile, he can move the vehicle in the correct
direction safely and in time. We all have tremendous potentialities to discover
our latent abilities ingrained in us. We have to control and put our these abilities
to identify one or two potentialities and make it grow to the benefits of self
and others.
We
will be more successful, if we are able to transform our behavior and character
intelligently, but not haphazardly. It is not that important how much talent do
we have? How far we are successful to
identify the existing talent and explore the same for the good purpose of
development. You may have many talents, but your non-identification and non-use
of the same will make you a failure. The
successful people, who are able to identify some of his talents, nurture and
use them and become well known and reputed.
What we regularly do, think, preach and practice shows the strength of
our character and ultimately our destiny.
Even it is pre-decided, it can be changed by changing our regular
activities, which mostly shadow our lives.
So, entire destiny, even it is pre-decided, is in our palm. We must develop enough courage
and tenacity to rebuild our future.
The
law of Karma and the law of success are the vital forces to enrich our lives when
we are able to understand this philosophy correctly. These laws are the art of
livings and we are the architectures to decide the same. God has never told us
that you only engage in worshipping and don’t do anything or procrastinate. He
advises to do all your deeds correctly and religiously and then remember Him
for his blessings. If we are weak, we
are not able to identify our talents, we
are not interested to grow our seeds of talents and then scream that God has
sent us in this world with bad destinies,
who can bring in a change in our life?
It is not because of destiny, it is basically because of our wrong
actions. In the past, when we are young,
we must have carried out many wrongdoings and now, at present, we are suffering the
consequences of the same; giving blame to our destinies. Don’t worry, it is
never too late. By starting today also,
you can alter your destiny through the divine values of love, tolerance, mercy
and kindness while searching your talent and exercise the same vigorously. You have to only adopt a self management,
right procedure, positive attitude, do or die determination to follow the laws
of Karma to the best of the best of your abilities; you will be able to change
your future even though for a short period. In this short period, you can
change many things, which was earlier creating
stumbling block in the path of your progress because you were under the
illusion that you have a bad destiny. You can always change your destiny, the
only thing required is your zeal and
motto with a die-hard determination.
