Whether Mr. Narendra Modi is an ideal candidate for Prime Minister

Being a denizen of Gujarat for the past three decades, I completely admire the activities of Gujarat Government under the stewardship of Mr. Narendra Modi.  His rhetorical power and administrative capability have made Gujarat a prosperous state.
Despite all these activities and his contribution, Mr. Amartya Sen opines that he is not a prime ministerial candidate; I accept the connotation.
The Prime Minister of India must be acceptable to all over the world because he is to be connected politically across the globe.  His secularism background does not advocate for the same.
Geographically, India is a vast country with various cross cultures. It is difficult for a person like Mr. Narendra Modi to control and enhance the growth of India particularly because of his image.  Now, the country is passing through a bad phase economically and also politically. Under the circumstances, he is not the ideal candidate for the Prime Minister.  Even if he is very successful, he is not to be considered and to be elevated to the topmost echelon of the country.  For example, if a cricketer is playing Duleep Trophy or Ranji Trophy matches very successfully, he cannot be made captain of Indian team.  At the most, he can be included in Indian team.
Though Mr. Modi has many positive attributes say one of the most non-corrupted politicians, very articulate, can convince the masses to support him, people are ready to cast votes for him, but the way he prosecuted Godhra riots in 2002, very many people still recognize him as an anti - minority community.  The horrendous and heinous activities performed by his associates on those days remind us the sequel. “Rome is burning and Nero is playing flute”. As an able administrator, he could have stood behind the minority communities and gained their accolade.  By choosing the reverse path, he became the hero of Gujarat mainly with the upper communities and in this process; he himself buried his latent desire to become Prime Minister one day. 

For the past 3-4 of years, he has put his best efforts to change this image, but many people are not accepting his initiative.  In politics, when one aspires to be the Prime Minister of the country, he has to develop a non secular image for himself.  Only rhetorical power coupled with the administrative and functional ability do not support his wish.

Let go of your extra baggage

People want to participate in yoga to create a unification of body, mind and soul. It brings flexibility to various parts of your body, tones the muscle, rejuvenates your energy level. If you want to create  a conscious and disease free body, you have to practice yoga.   
What is yoga? In simpler form, it is stretching your hands, legs, circulating your hips, neck, and also perform meditation to increase your spiritual power. Yoga consists of many asanas, chakras to provide a steady  blood circulation  and in turn give you a well maintained and appealing body.

Yoga is derived from the ancient Indian history and it means integration and harmonization of all the parts of the body. Yoga is a Sanskrit word and it means Yug. The yoga is not only the subject of the saints, sages and spiritual people to achieve ‘’Moksha,’’ but also for the common people because of its numerous advantages. It can relieve you from stress, anxiety, it reduces your anger, it increases your concentration so that you can focus for a long time on any particular subject and it also alleviates your pain. By following various stretching exercises, asanas, breathing  exercises, you keep the harmony of your body  which can save  you from various imbalances in the body.

Further, you have to follow a yogic system.This system is a tool kit, which will give you fitness, stamina and act as an energy booster.  It will also help you to lose your unwanted emotional and mental baggage as well.  And believer or not, these baggages are one of the prime factors to increase your weight.  Now, if you are many or a few kilos overweight, you don’t get nervous or become a slave of anxiety how to reduce weight.  You simply follow a systemic and step-by-step approach and the same will help you reach your desired wish to reduce the weight.  Even, otherwise you are not at all in the bracket of overweight and still want to create a conscious, light and appealing body, you must remember the following pointers to make the same as a benchmark of your life. 

Hydrate yourself:

Drink plenty of liquids.  If not liquids, go for plain water at equal interval of time.  It is a pertinent fact that the more you hydrate your body, the more you will be of balanced weight.  Most of us are so dehydrated that we mistake our thirst response as a symptom of hunger.  In this scenario, we take more food and if the same is luscious, we even over-eat instead of just drinking more liquid or water.  Say a straight no to all fuzzy drinks, namely colas and sugar laden drinks.  To dehydrate your body, simply go in buttermilk, tender coconut water, wheatgrass juice or any fruit juice without the addition

Selection of foods:

Your selection of foods is very vital to help you not to gain weight.  You must consume the one which is rich in Prana or life force energy like fresh fruits and vegetables.  Many people take meal very fast without chewing and enjoying thoroughly.  This is a wrong practice.  Chewing the food and eating in a slow pace helps assimilate the nutrients and fulfills the body.   If you follow the wrong practice of eating, you will be overweight.

Alkalize your body and detox:

Unfortunately, your surrounding air and water are very acidic in nature because of the pollution.  Look for a good water purifying and alkalizing system and avoid non-organic products as pesticides and fertilizers as they are highly acidic.  These products will harm your body system and imbalance to increase your weight. So, it is very necessary to alkalize your body.  Spend time in green spaces. Spend time with positive minded people to go of all the limitations in life.  With the affiliation of these people, you can get rid of acidic emotions.  You can adopt many simple methods to detox.  Drinking lemon water and honey is very good.  You have to follow a simple detoxing program that does not demand more.  Many people follow the extreme methods of detoxification and in this process, invite health problem.  It is better to practice moderation.

Organic food habit:

Substitute foods. Eat dates or raisins when you desire to eat sweet.  You must consume whole wheat flour instead of white flour.  Eat hand made rice instead of white rice.  Consume brown sugar and avoid white one.  Eat foods which are organic and rich in fiber.  Drink herbal tea instead of milk tea or coffee.  Avoid alcohol and instead drink unsweetened juices.  Alcohol and coffee are one of the major causes of water gain.  If you desire to lose weight, but cannot resist your greed for alcohol and coffee, your mission will not be successful.

Breathe deeply:

You must learn the technique of Pranayama in your yoga class.  Be aware of your breathing pattern right throughout the day.  Breathe deeply, expanding your lungs so as to energize yourself.  You must follow the yogic tool kit to expand all three lobes of the lungs.  Always remember to be present to your breath and present to the present.  This is an important aspect of yogic system to correct your breathing to free your lungs from any congestion. 




Get rid of your emotions:

If you are drenched with emotional disharmony, release the same using the correct breathing.  Use various sounds to release stress.  Sounds establish a direct communication to your sub-conscious mind.  The best way to relieve you from emotion is to confine yourself in your bedroom and scream without disturbing your neighbor. You have to scream just for a fun to let out the steam.  The yogic system prescribes some structured sound practices. On your own, you can do the female cobra breath as per yoga.  Breathe in through the nose and breathe out through the teeth with a hissing sound. Perform this for ten rounds.  This is an effective way to release your pent-up irritation and stress.  This will be also helpful for you not over eating.  You will automatically eat less because you are emotionally over burdened.  People eat more when they are very comfortable.  Start feeling emotions and release them.  Don’t club yourself, with emotions and involve in the blame game.  Also, don’t suppress them as they will create unhealthy cravings for junk food or ready to eat fast food with coke or you will reach fantasies.  Avoid behaving like a ticking time bomb and release it on others.

Accountability:

You must be accountable to yourself and not to others for any shift, you are going to make in your life.  Plan an achievable goal for your life and achieve the same.  Once you have promised to achieve some goal, do it wholeheartedly.  Start enjoying efforts.  The result will automatically come.  Don’t delay it under the shelter that “I will do it tomorrow”.  There is a difference between impulsive behavior and doing what needs to be done immediately.  If you feel uncomfortable with your accountability to yourself, find out some mentor.  He should be an unbiased man and once you give this responsibility to him, he will ensure for your better future, but you have to report on your progress to him regularly.

Defocus and Refocus:

Get rid of the things which eat your energy unnecessarily.  You simply ignore it or let it be like that.  If you cannot take a decision for any less important work, take it in the future.   Focus on those things that keep you motivated.  Even they are of minor nature, do it immediately or take a decision for those things.




Enlist loving support:

Tell your friends and well-wishers not to provoke you to eat calorie rich food.  Tell your spouse, maid or to any other persons who provide you food to offer fruit salad or something light instead of oily food or desert.  You should get the people who help you rather than provoke you to eat rich foods.  In fact, calorie rich foods are just not helping you to achieve your mission of weight loss.  Clear your home of all the unhealthy stuff and replace them with healthy substitutes.

Connect yourself:

Cultivate the habit of remaining allure and be in solitude.  Don’t feel guilty about this. It is simply not possible that you will be praised by everybody so do not want wish to please everyone.  If you are feeling overwhelmed by the demands others make on you, step back and slow down.  This will actually make you more productive. 

Power of intention and visualization:

You have to always keep in mind that your weight is an ideal body weight, even though it is not the same. Hold the intention that you have a body of light and you  pulsate with light.  This will automatically give you feeling to shade your unwanted physical or emotional heaviness to reduce weight.

Love yourself:

Always love yourself as you are and where you know that you can make improvement in shift.  Most of us are conditioned to look up to those who are beautiful or knowledgeable or in a position of power or money.  Please make a note that you are worth what you are.  You must respect yourself even you don’t match to society’s standard of success.  You feel that you are loved by everyone.

Create a body of light:

You have to inculcate a habit of chanting hymns in your daily life.  Unfortunately, now-a-days, people only attribute this activity that too before the religious teachers, sages or gurus.  A real spirituality is about consciously grounding in the simple thing of life.  You must be grateful to mother earth for her love and support.  The spirituality will come when you treat your body as a temple of the divine.




Effort  effortlessly:

You must put your all efforts, effortlessly to do your works which you can achieve.  Don’t stress yourself for the things which you are not able to do.  You must differentiate with the things which can be done by you and which cannot be.  Do what is in your power and accept and let go of the rest.   There is no doubt that if you are consistent in your legitimate effort, you can definitely release your extra baggage.

The Charismatic Power of Fruit infused water drinks

The water infused drinks have intrinsic food value and if you consume regularly, there will be benefits on various accounts. In this Article, I have narrated the importance of various fruits, which can prevent you from the snare of diseases, namely cancer, kidney failure and heart attack. We  are always  desirous to maintain good health, but we are not that cautious to eat fruits on a regular basis.

If you make a habit of eating fruits regularly, nothing like this, but, if you cannot, then at least make drinks with these fruits, and consume the same. In this way, you can get rid of the above diseases. These fruits not only prevent you being attacked with these diseases, but also make you healthy and lead a  long life.
Cranberry based drinks:

1. Cranberry  - Orange Water: -

·         Cranberries are small red berries and have properties like antioxidants. They carry lots of essential nutrients.
·         Cranberry treats urinary tract infections. It contains Proanthocyanidins which help to prevent E-coli bacteria from sticking to the walls of the bladder.
·         Cranberry prevents cancer and also very useful to reduce the chance of getting affected from colon, prostate and lung cancer.
·         Cranberry is helpful to relieve you from mental health by reducing stress, anxiety and depression.
·         Cranberries are useful to heal skin conditions like acne, dermatitis, eczema and psoriasis.
·         Cranberry contains critic acid, which prevents kidney stones and other kidney problems.
·         It is helpful to lose weight.

·         Orange boosts your immunity because of its nutrie power. It is full of vitamin C. It is good for your skin. Its regular consumption will make your skin glow, even at old age.
·         Eyesight improves upon, if you regularly eat an orange.
·         Orange has flavonoids like hesperidin which reduces cholesterol and prevents your arteries from getting blocked. This, in turn, protects you from heart attack and other cardiovascular disease.
·         Orange helps in brain development and  keeps you free from stomach ulcers.
·         Orange is very beneficial for diabetes patients. Orange contains a compound called D- limonene which is responsible to prevent various types of cancer like lung cancer, breast cancer and skin cancer.

Ingredients:- 


-       4 cups cranberry sliced and chilled
-       4 cups orange peeled
-       12 slices fresh orange
-       Chilled water


Fill a twelve ounce glass with ice and chilled water. Pour 1/3 cup cranberry pieces. Top each serving with orange pieces. Serve after garnishing with a sprig of mint.


2. Cranberry, Mint and Lemon Water: -

·         Mint adds that special zing to almost all foods.
·         Regular consumption of mist will reduce your liver problem. The menthol, which is present in mint, can revitalize the system. It provides you glowing and acne for skin.
·         Oral health considerably improves upon, if you use mint continuously in your food because of its anti-inflammatory properties. Mint has an inherent power to kill bacteria in the mouth preventing bad breath and tooth decay and so, if you munch mint in the morning hours regularly, it will vitalize your oral health.
·         Mint relieves cough and asthma. It boosts immunity. It revitalizes from morning giddiness to pregnant women.  It also beats stress and depression.
·         All types of cancer can be prevented by use of mint daily.

·         Lemons are high in Vitamin-C and it contains potassium. Vitamin C is brilliant for fighting colds.
·         Potassium which exists in lemon, arouses nerve and brain functions and these  are fundamentally responsible to control blood pressure and diabetes.
·         Since lemons have neutral PH value means it is an alkaline food, but still they are acidic on their own.  But, when we take a lemon as a food, they become alkaline in our bodies.  The reason is that the citric acid does not create acidity in the body once it is metabolized. Lemons are high in pectin fiber.
·         If lemon is taken with warm water, it alleviates the gastrointestinal problem.
·         The lemons are also high in minerals and vitamins and help loosen ama or toxins in the digestive tract.

Ingredients:- 

-       ¼ cup cranberries, sliced
-       16 lemons rind
-       6 fresh mint cut into thin strips
-       8 1/3 oz cranberry  
-       ½ cup water

Divide cranberries, sliced lemon rind and mint in each compartment of one ice cube tray. Combine cranberry slices and ½ cup water. Pour into a tray, freeze for four hours, until it firms. Serve with a sprig of mint.
Cucumber based drinks:

1. Cucumber, Mint, Ginger & Lemon infused Water: -


        Cucumbers do a great job in refreshing and hydrating the body because it contains 95% water.
  • Cucumber has antioxidant properties and they have anti-inflammatory benefits.
  • Cucumbers are a rich source of vitamin C, beta-carotene and manganese free radical scavenger. Regular use of cucumber may reduce the chance of your being attacked with cancer.
  • The manganese free radical scavenging anti-estrogenic effects as cucumber is helpful for hydration and so it is beneficial for reducing blood pressure.
  • Cucumber also helps in digestion. For diabetic patients, consumption of cucumber is very essential to have control of cholesterol level. It also helps in weight loss because it contains Vitamin B.





·         Ginger is known to improve upon the absorption and assimilation of essential nutrients in the body. If you feel nausea, chew on ginger, preferably tossed in honey.
·         Ginger has anti inflammatory properties and so it can relieve you from joint pain.  
·         If you have a tummy moaning and groaning under cramps, munch ginger.  
·         Drink ginger tea to get rid of sore throat and nose congestion and its irritation.

Ingredients:- 

-       12 thin slices of Cucumber
-       4 thin slices of Lemon
-       2-3 sprigs of Mint
-       1 Ginger, cut into very thin pieces
-        Chilled water

Put all these ingredients in a 2 quart pitcher, combine and mix them thoroughly. Add lemon.  Stir it and add chilled water and allow it to refrigerate for 2 hours. Serve after garnishing with 2-3 leaves of mint.


2. Cucumber, Grapefruit and Rosemary Water


·         Grapefruit is one of the world’s healthiest fruits. It is a large subtropical citrus fruit and has slightly bitter and sour taste. It prevents arthritis and works as an antiseptic.
·         Grapefruit helps in losing weight. It is high in enzymes that burn fat and it is perfect to increase your body’s metabolism.
·         Grapefruit helps in cancer prevention. Lycopene is a carotenoid pigment that is responsible for its red color. The intake of this fruit  always acts as a remedy for tumors and cancer.
·         Grapefruit is responsible to lower cholesterol bend.

Ingredients:- 

-       1 Cucumber, thin and sliced
-       1 Grapefruit
-       Rosemary Water
-       Ice Cubes
-       Sparkling or Plain Water



Amounts are not to be so precise for this recipe. It is entirely as per your taste. You use few thin slices of cucumber, few slices of grapefruit, and ginger. You must peel off the skin of the fruits and ginger to get adequate flavor. Muddle all the ingredients in a pitcher. Mash them with a wooden spoon. Don’t use plastic container as it can’t hold the flavor. Add water and ice. Refrigerate the drink for a few hours. You can strain out the ingredients to drink or just go for it as it is.


3. Cucumber & Grape infused Water


·         Grapes are easy to consume as unlike other fruits, you need not to worry to peel it. Grapes are high in fiber, polyphenols and a flavonoid called quercetin, which reduces the chances of your arteries getting blocked due to bad cholesterol.
·         Grapes have several antioxidants, along with anti-inflammatory properties which make it really good for preventing cancer. Antioxidants like myricetin and quercetin prevents your cells from suffering from free radical damage and keeps cancer at bay. 
·         Grapes are rich in antioxidants like lutein and zeaxanthin and they are beneficial to reduce risk of age related mascular degeneration.
·         Many doctors prescribe this particular fruit to diabetic patients, because the grapes have a low glycemic index of 46 which is comparatively better than any other mouth-watering fruits.  
·         Grapes help you in curing constipation. By its regular use, you look younger.


Ingredients:- 

-       ½ cup green grape, frozen
-       ¼ cup mint leaves
-       ¼ cup fresh lime
-       2 tbs agave nectar



Combine all these ingredients in a pitcher or glass jar. Mix it thoroughly. Add water, and stir until it becomes smooth. Add water and serve with mint leaves.

4. Cucumber, Lime and Kiwi Water

·         Lime has many health benefits, namely weight loss, skin care, improved digestion, relief from constipation, eye care and treatment of scurvy, piles, peptic ulcer, respiratory disorders, gout, gums and urinary disorders, etc. 
·         The scientific name of Lime is Citrus Aurantifolia which is used for various ages in the treatment of different ailments. 
·         Lime is consumed in the form of beverages, refreshing cocktails, pickles, jams and also in cooking.
·         Lime helps in digestion. Since it contains ample amount of acids, it helps clear the excretory system and cleaning off the tract and the problem of constipation eases down.
·         Lime contains a special compound, namely Limonoids such as Limonin Glucoside which has antioxidant, anti-carcinogenic, antibiotic and detoxifying properties that stimulate the healing process of peptic and oral ulcers. Who wants to be in bed being attacked with a mild fever and feel giddy and gloomy, no one and so just  take a small cup of lime or lime juice, you yourself will find the difference.

Ingredients:- 

-       1 cucumber
-       1 Lime
-       1 liter kiwi water

Add all these items, mix and refrigerate for a few hours. Serve and enjoy.

5. Cucumber, Grapefruit Water  

Ingredients:- 

-       1 medium cucumber, peeled and sliced
-       ½ cup fresh grapefruit thin sliced
-       Chilled water

All these ingredients are to be put in a glass jar and mash it with a wooden spoon. Add adequate chilled water. Muddle the whole ingredients with hand pressure, until the cucumber is thoroughly mashed. Add more chilled water and then serve.


6. Cucumber and Passion Fruit infused Water   

·         Passion fruit is just like an egg shaped. It is a tropical fruit which is also known as “purple granadillas”.  
·         The juice of passion fruit reduces cancer cell growth. The phytochemicals present in the fruit  inhibits the growth of cancer cell. The phenolic acids and flavonoids present in the fruit are very helpful to protect the heart and its functioning. This is an  antioxidant rich fruit and these fruits contain quite high Carbohydrates and so increase stamina and energy.
·         The seeds are very vital sources of fiber. They are rich in vitamins A, C and Potassium. Passion fruit contains plant sterols, which is beneficial to reduce cholesterol.

Ingredients:- 

-       1 big cucumber
-       ½ passion fruit
-       Chilled water

Passion fruit is very rich in sweetness. Add these ingredients into a pitcher. Stir with a wooden spoon. Add very chilled water. Allow it to settle. Refrigerate for 1 hour. It should not be for a more time to reduce the sweetness of this fruit and the drink’s flavor. Serve after garnishing with a thin slice of cucumber.  

7. Cucumber and Mango Water   


·         Mango is a highly nutritious fruit. These fruits are an excellent source of carotenes and important antioxidants. These fruits contain almost all the vitamins, namely A, B and C. Copper content is almost 20 percent. Raw mangoes are comprised of nearly 90 percent water and are a good source of fiber. It prevents cancer, lowers cholesterol and clears the skin. Mango alkalizes the whole body as it contains tartaric acid, malic acid and a bit of citric acid.
·         Mango promotes good eyesight and prevents night blindness and dry eyes. Mango improves digestion.
·         If you are a patient of diabetes, but your hbA1C is on the borderline, you can consume mangoes in a limited quantity. Who knows, it can make you normal. In general, mangoes help to normalize insulin levels in the blood.
·         Mango has a lot of vitamins and nutrients that help the body feel fuller. This fibrous fruit boosts the digestive function of the body by burning additional calories, helping in weight loss.
·         Mango has aphrodisiac qualities. This fruit is also known as love fruit. The virility power of the male fraternity is increased considerably by using this fruit.
·         When the scorching sun burns your limbs and body, this drink of water fused mango will immediately cool you down. Mango is rich in glutamine acid, an important protein for concentration. The children who are not so attentive and fail to concentrate on their studies must consume mangoes.
·         Mango is rich in iron and so it is a great natural solution for people suffering from anemia.


Ingredients:- 


-       1 cucumber
-       1 mango, cubed
-       Chilled water

Cut the cucumber into thin slices and add the same with mango cubed. Add chilled water. Allow to refrigerate for 3 hours. Serve and enjoy. If you like, you can garnish with cherry.


8. Cucumber, Papaya  and Mango Water   

 Papaya is a good source of Vitamin A & Papain. This fruit helps in removing dead skin cells.
 Because of its low sodium quality, it always keeps your skin hydrated. Papaya contains carotene and is a wholesome fruit. If you eat this fruit regularly, your skin will glow. The mashed papaya can be used to heal your sour and cracked heels  

Papaya helps the skin by reducing the aging signs on the face. Every morning, if you take papaya, your liver function will be considerably improved upon and the chances of the formation of ringworms will be remote. But, parents have to inculcate this habit  in their children.
Papaya is rich in fiber and antioxidants, which prevent cholesterol build up in your arteries. If this deposition is too high, it can lead to several heart diseases, including heart attack and hypertension.
·         If you want to lose weight, eat papaya as it is very low in calories. Papaya increases your     immunity and you are safe from being attacked by various infections.
·         Papaya has low sugar content and so it is very good for diabetic patient and  papaya also improves upon your digestive power.
·         Arthritis is a really nagging disease. It brings you discomfort all the time. Eating papayas are good for your bones as they have anti inflammatory properties. One of the research says that finding people who eat papayas regularly are less prone to be affected by arthritis.
·         Papaya is a rich source of phytonutrients and flavonoids that prevents your cell from undergoing free radical damage.  
Ingredients:- 

-       1 medium cucumber
-       ½ large ripe papaya
-       1 very sweet mango
-       4 ounces of filtered water
-       A few ice cubes to chill

Start adding the ingredients into a pitcher. Slowly and gently mash all these fruits until it becomes liquefied. Add chilled water. Allow to settle. Strain and serve.

9. Cucumber and Ginger infused Water   

Ingredients:- 

-       1 cucumber thin and sliced
-       1 finger ginger, peeled, thin and very small sliced
-       Chilled water


All these ingredients put in a glass, shake and refrigerate for 2 hours. Serve after garnishing with a thin slice of cucumber.


10. Cucumber, Mint and Lavender Water   

·         Lavender is the most popular Herb. There is no doubt that if you consume lavender, you will be able to release tension, disinfect skin and to some extent  cure respiratory problems.
·         Lavender improves upon the nervous system and alleviates headache. If you inhale, it acts as a soothing agent for your better sleep, if the same is disturbed.
·         Lavender has antiseptic and antifungal properties and ,then they are helpful to treat skin disorders and inflammations. It aids in digestion and helps you to relieve from flu, common cold, asthma and respiratory problems. This herb takes care of your hair and aids in digestion and  decreasing of dementia problem. 

Ingredients:- 

-       1 large cucumber
-       4 cups ice cubes
-       1 gallon cold water
-       Few sprigs of mint
-       1 teaspoon culinary lavender


Hot water is not to be used because it destroys enzymes and vitamins in fruits and vegetables. Use food grade/ bio-grade Lavender.


Cut the cucumber into thin slices. Remove the possibility of a waxy taste from the rind. In a gallon glass  pitcher, add ice cubes, cucumbers, cold water, mint sprigs and lavender. Cover and put the pitcher in your fridge for 2 to 8 hours. The flavor of this composition will intensify, if you refrigerate for a longer duration. Serve and enjoy. This drink can be used for 3 days because after that the mint will wilt and turn brown.

11. Cucumber, Ginger and Lemongrass Water   

  • Lemongrass has a therapeutic and other health benefits. It is widely used to reduce respiratory conditions, including laryngitis and sore throat. Lemongrass has a reputation for its anti-pyretic property which is responsible to reduce high fever.
  • Lemongrass has formidable pain relieving properties. It helps to reduce muscle spasms by relaxing the tissues. It contains vitamin A which is helpful to revitalize your skin. Lemongrass has antifungal and antibacterial property and so this herb is  very powerful to increase the growth of bacteria and yeast and precisely for this reason, it is beneficial to gastrointestinal patients.

Ingredients:- 

-       1  large cucumber
-       4 cups ice cubes
-       2 stalks lemongrass
-       1 finger ginger, peeled, thin and very small sliced
-       Chilled water


All these ingredients are added with salt and then blended into a blender.  This blending operation is to be done for a minute until it becomes smooth.  Strain the mass through a fine mesh strainer to store into a pitcher.  The solids are discarded.  Add cold water so that it is combined thoroughly. Add ice. You can now serve in ice-filled glass garnished with cucumber slices.

12. Cucumber, Mint and Watermelon Water   


·         Watermelon is a very popular food to beat the summer heat. They are rich in vitamins and other essential nutrients. They vitalize your heart because of presence of potassium.
·         If you consume watermelon regularly, your immunity is increased considerably. Watermelon contains B6, B1, C and manganese, which are the causes to increase your immunity.
·         Rich in flavonoids like lutein, zeaxanthin, lycopene, beta-carotene and Cryptoxanthin,  and because of their presence, watermelon protects your cells from free radical damage and ultimately saves you from cancer.
·         If you eat watermelon, you lose weight. Your eyesight improves upon. The sharpness of your brain increases because of B6, a nutrient present in this fruit.
·         Keeps your kidney health in perfect condition.

Ingredients:- 

-       1 large cucumber, sliced
-       ¼ honeydew/water melon cubed
-       Cantaloupe cubed
-       ½ gallon of water
-       1-2 sprig of mint


Place melon and cucumber in a glass pitcher. Add water. Allow to rest, refrigerate for 2 hours. Serve over ice. Garnish with watermelon cubes skewered on a swizzle stick and a sprig of mint.


13. Cucumber and Watermelon Water   


Ingredients:- 


-       1 large cucumber, sliced
-       ½ watermelon, cubed
-       ½ gallon of chilled sparkling water


Add cucumber slices and watermelon cubes in sparkling water. Cool the mass and refrigerate for 3 to 4 hours. Serve with a sprig of mint.



14. Cucumber and Kiwi Water   

Ingredients:- 

-       1 large cucumber
-       1 bottle of kiwi water
-       Chilled water



Make a paste of cucumber. Add kiwi water. Allow to store and then add chilled water. Again store. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Serve with pinch of salt and pepper.



15. Cucumber and Lavender  Water   

Ingredients:- 


-       3  large cucumbers, thickly sliced
-       ¼ cup fresh lavender
-       ½ gallon of water

Pour water over the cucumbers and lavender. Refrigerate for 2 hours. Service over ice after garnished with a sprig of lavender.



16. Cucumber and Lemongrass Water   

Ingredients:- 

-       1  large cucumber
-       4 cups ice cubes
-       2 stalks lemongrass
-       Chilled water
