In
life, from the experience of various failures, you learn the technique or try
to learn techniques how to float in various complexities. From various failures,
which also cause mental disharmony, some
of us arrive at a conclusion to search the truth behind these failures. Once
you ascertain the facts, you become more pragmatic in your approaches in future.
These failures make you mentally strong
and sedate. At that point of time, you
would always like to embrace the path of spirituality to avoid the recurrence
of the failures at least, which are of repetitive nature. Now, for example, instead
of failures, had we always faced successes, then what would happen? The
virtues, namely patience, humility, perseverance, understanding of our
limitations, visualizing our roles in this world, passing sarcastic judgement
for others works and their behavior, choosing the ideal path of living, would
have no meaning and our lives would have been not bear a significant reality. In
other words, these virtues would have not brought any output because life is
full of successes. So, we must take this
world as full of challenges and all our setbacks and failures are to be
perceived as a new chapter to relearn and then again learn to grow steadily.
Success
and arrogance are hand in gloves. The more success will give you the more power
of your self-importance and then your thoughts enriched with these feelings
make you arrogant. At that particular
point, you feel that you are the monarch of all you survey. Your
self-importance will prompt you not only to brag all your activities, but also
to control others lives mercilessly. Power and political success are the
glaring examples of this self-importance feeling. People in politics feel they can do anything
and get away even after performing evils with a knowledge that their actions
will bring in a disastrous consequence.
In our life, we carry out many things, but whatever we perform has an action
and reaction. Sometimes, we continue to
perform without a clarity what will be after effect of that particular action. Once
the outcome becomes visible, either we appreciate or repent. Further, in our lives, we always dwindle
about our careers and its growth, if the same is not flourishing as we want. In
this mental struggle, we sometimes opt out. Then, we feel our lives need a
separate path. To recover from the hard
battle of careers, its growth and upliftment, sometimes we knowingly choose to
embark upon a new journey, mostly linked
to spiritual for many. Then our living world opens up with a different spirit, which
will teach us that apart from careers in life, there is a spirit of divine
potential. Once you are able to identify
this spirit, your new journey starts. Then the small horizon, which earlier we
build along ourselves get smashed and we are back to the origin of our thought
process. We start to think the life in another way. We then don’t run and take part in the rat
race, think of the covenant career, materialistic comfort, and desire to
fulfill all sensual unwanted obligations and instead of that we think to link
ourselves with the whole world as a common part. We don’t think in the terms
that some people are more important than others, some people are more famous
and some people are more powerful. We take everyone at par. Once you tend to
think in a path of spirituality, you opine that different people are engaged in
different things in their fields and there is nothing like one is more
important than other.

The
path of spiritual journey is a tedious, painstaking, arduous and a long route. When we follow our careers without thinking
the self-importance, we must carry on doing our work and simultaneously, we
must create a spiritual treasure. Once
we are able to create spiritual treasure, the next thought process should be
linked to establish a deep and meaningful path, which will make us more God
oriented. Ultimately, we become more attached to humanity. This intrinsic
strength of the life when acquired is the most enlightening part of life. Every individual can acquire this strength,
though it is not easy.
With
a spiritual outlook, we express our thoughts very openly with others, we
support others in their growth, we love others and ensure their triumph, we
express deep sorrows when others are in dire-straits and finally, we share
thoughts with others to live, learn, laugh and grow. The reason is simple; no
one can measure spiritual growth of another person. If you bring a small
sapling, put the same in an earthen tub, and give medicines, fertilizer and
regular water with a strong inclination for a good output, the sapling grows
and gives quality flowers and your mind
becomes enliven. The important lesson here is how you convert the sapling to
grow flowers because you have put your mind on the right track with a
determination to produce good quality flowers.
Don’t
get panicky and disheartened when others equate you as small or not so
important. Because, then only you have a
chance to grow and that is the time to realize your real worth. Don’t carry out anything to prove that other people
are wrong; only when you are sure that achievement is possible, you are able to
gain both mentally and spiritually significantly. Enlightenment cannot be
measured through your emotion or intelligence.
You can only become a true human being, provided you choose a path,
which starts from a spiritual and ends with a spiritual.
