Why we rummage and ramble for white collar crime?

All of us are engaged in white collar crimes, for example not to go to the office as the weather is turbulent because of heavy downpour just before leaving, or a sensational cricket match between India and some other country is being played or simply mood is off color. A few of us also take excuses of the ill health of parents, spouse & sometimes of their children. By any chance, if the boss phones, we suppress the real fact and we frame an imaging story in the backdrop of a white lie. It is known as white collar crime. The fundamental difference between the two crimes of blue collar and the white collar is that the former one is vituperative and highly offensive and subject to severe punishment say imprisonment, hefty fine, rusticate and discharged from duties or job. But if you commit white collar crimes, you don’t get any reprimand or face a serious type of punishment. Now, if someone commits a blue collar crime, for example, stealing, robbery, rape, murder or creating anarchy, the society will not pardon the person and he will be bench marked as a notorious and evil person. Suppose, this person is tired of doing blue collar crimes and also after getting repeated punishments, by any chance he decides to change his character & approach you and me to become a good person, we will not encourage & will be full of suspicion. May be, we will try him to be convicted again. But if this person approaches a yogi, he will not hesitate to give him advise to change. Because the yogic person is aware that no one can fight with the darkness. You have to just illuminate the light of doing good deeds & darkness will be automatically removed. Evil is the result of the distracted mind & when the mind is full of various dark thoughts, the person gets induced and excited to commit blue collar crimes. So, the remedy is to enlighten your soul and fight your evil desires.

The white collar crimes fundamentally look to be of lesser complication & so after committing these crimes, we don’t repent. But repeatedly if you commit these crimes, you lose your morality first in your own eyes & then to other eyes.

Today’s glamorous world takes it as a chauvinism to consume alcoholic drinks in party gathering, friendly get-together or in any kind of celebration. In these types of high profile gatherings, using slang languages, criticizing others and abusing or hurling insults even to your bosom in an inebriated condition is not that uncommon. These are part of wrongdoing and also can be classified as white collar crimes. More surprisingly, these crimes are performed by all types of people of the society. People sometimes commit white collar crime out of the requirement or as they say due to the demand of the situation. They support their white collar crimes under the logic that they are not  interested to do so, but they are forced to commit. This occasional white collar crime is permissible, though not advisable, but when the same becomes practice, it is detrimental both for the doers and to whom it is meted for. It is seen that the offenders usually commit crime to find out a short cut to reach the desired goal or doing some unfair means to achieve the momentary happiness. For example, you are a good student & you are able to solve most of the questions in one of your examination papers, but our of your quest to obtain more than eighty percent marks, you engage in consultation with one of your friends to get the answer to a specific question knowingly that said conduct is not admissible in an examination hall. Your this activity may increase your overall percentage, but it is a white collar crime performed by you to bring in a temporary solace for you A majority of white collar crime is done in our society, not due to any convincing or compelling reason, but it is performed basically for the reason of a shear habit and desire of carrying wrongdoings, which are mostly classified as pardonable offense. In today’s society, we observe a rampant corruption prevailed in our education system, government machineries, administrative authorities,  hospitals, temples & churches. All these corruptions are basically evolved not because of need, but mainly because of greed.

We have a strict vigilance & an ethical code of conduct supported by a well described law and order impositions, even though, white collar crimes are soaring. Why it is so? People have a less belief in the system based values and ethics and to get the work done, they mostly rely bypassing the system, resorting to induce the greed of others. Contrarily, people can very well take the defined ethical route to get their jobs done; maybe they have to wait a little bit longer period and suffer a little more pain. The trust is the most important ethical formula, which people must respect from their heart to avoid this easy to perform white collar crime. Our education system is equally responsible for this wrongdoing. The system agitates our mind to think everything centered on money, but not on the basis of a good virtue and nobility. Most of us are ignorant to understand the latent meaning of the Law of karma. Our profanity reminds us to consider this merely as a token of knowledge. Our human resources development escalates our knowledge to confine us within the commercialized education system. We are seldom able to introspect the real purpose of our education and so unable to increase the quality of our lives. We only focus to career enhancement & materialistic gain & we take the same as our benchmark. And to fulfill this path, we continue to loom to perform white collar crime. An aspiration of rising up in life at any cost thunders us and rotates our mentality to live grandeur and believe a system of corruption though we prefer a lip service against this crime. We mostly resort to desire driven living and ultimately suffering a lot of hardship, pain, distress, humiliation and hatred in the long run. We can get a limited success by not embracing upon an approach of doing white collar crime quite often, but the same outlook will not cause a disaster in life. Our egocentric life and self-centered living style arouses our need, more than our requirement and the same covetous greed tempts us to lark to snatch others wealth so that we are able to earn name, fame and money for our own. This modified pattern of mind destroys our peace, happiness, calmness and honest virtues. Our flurried mind makes us to flutter here and there for materialistic gain. The more you believe in this game of white collar crime, the greater will be frustration. A stage will come, you won’t be able to flunk anymore. Your pleasure oriented life will become misers centered remnant. Our consciousness always teaches us to find out the real behind the apparent, perpetual behind the ephemeral and egoistic behind the selflessness. At times, we do not follow these teachings and commit white collar crimes

The performer of a blue collar crime needs to be changed thoroughly, both mentally and physically, which may be difficult though possible. But for a performer of a while collar crime, which we all do will be prompted by life’s gimmicks. We will be then allured to perform these white collar crimes again and again, ultimately giving rise of these activities to rampage the society. Why to rummage the environment?
