Will Modi,make BJP the world's largest party

If you closely observe Modi’s political acumen and ability to increase the base of his party, he is determined to make the BJP as the world’s largest party. His this vision has prompted him to make his close confidant Amit Shah as the party president. He could have made him a minister in his cabinet. But he has not entrusted the said responsibility to him. Why? Because, he very well knows that the way his government has been ensconced in power, it can be dislodged, also after a period of time, if he does not concentrate to capture the ruling of various state governments. Who knows, what Congress and its allies are thinking and who knows under the name of  secularism, the opposition parties again may try to form a third front. Though it is not so easy to dethrone this BJP government for a considerable period of time, but you never know the pattern of political equation and bonding of each with the other.

No one can deny this hard fact that if any party wants to consolidate their authority politically, they have to strengthen  their grassroots level and if party’s cadres are strongly linked to the ideologies of the party, the spontaneity of mass appeal and support for the said party will get increased. With these thoughts, Modi has made Amit Shah as the president of the BJP.

 Modi has given a clear mandate to his president  to give a drive to increase the membership of the party. Since then, the party has enrolled more than 56 lakhs members within two weeks of this strategical movement. In this way, Modi wants to augment his ambitious plan to consolidate BJP’s political domination. The latest information which is pouring from all corners that the membership spree is continually increasing and will be touching a benchmark of 60 lakhs very soon. The two top bosses, namely Modi and Shah are very pragmatic in their approach and  they can turn BJP as the world’s largest party. Many people are confident, particularly of Modi’s decision in this endeavor.

Modi is following the model of China’s communist party whose membership stands at 8.3 crore. In China, there is an unwritten law that all members of the People’s Liberation Army and the bureaucracy must be party’s members throughout the life. At present, BJP’s enrolled members are 3.5 crore and they are the largest political party of the country. Though this figure represents a mammoth base, still, the two bosses want more members and intense connectivity of their ministers, steering committee members to the masses through their enrolled members. They are very much aware that the top rung leaders are not that available to the needs of the basic members. Fundamentally, Modi is clear that the numbers of members are to be increased and also the connectivity, association and mingling of the leaders and their members must be visible. Modi is depending to carry forward his this mission of maximizing this membership drive through his protégé Shah.  

Modi also wants that the members are to be periodically informed of the party’s achievement of various policies and schemes related to governance, achievement and program of the government and wherever needed, they must be trained with the political messages about the contribution of the government and the party in various fields of development works.

Modi’s this meaningful drive will definitely help him garner the support of masses to win elections in various states commencing from the next month and spreading up to the year of 2017.

Modi knows that intense connectivity is very crucial to upgrade the political base, which will ultimately help to maximize the party’s political clout in the states like West Bengal, Assam, Tamil Nadu and Odisha. Based on the advice of Modi, Shah is discharging the plans of a membership drive, which will enable the party’s appeal and convert the same into votes.

Finally, this drive of membership supplemented by various programs being devised by Shah under the guidance of Modi will be very helpful for BJP to dislodge some of the state governments. In this way, they can come to power in many states and  will be  able to start ruling majority of the states and consolidate Modi’s position as a Prime Minister in center in Delhi for years together.

To fulfill this strategical mission and make his party as the world’s largest party, he has very rightly nominated Shah as the president and Shah will be able to deliver as per his leader’s decision and strategic vision.
