When you die where will you go?

Life is like a journey.  When you are in the midst of this journey, you must know at least where you go?  You know the outcome of your efforts.  Even you waste time for doing nothing, you should be aware about your procrastination.  But when the journey ends, means after you die, where will you go?  Death is a term known to all and we all will die one or the other day.  God leaves the particular body, but He does not go anywhere.  There is no vibration from Him in that body.  Unless and until your mind is satisfied, it will continue to come into this world.  This cycle continues till the time the mind and the body get liberation.  Life has no death; it is perpetual.

We all know that once our period of life’s journey is over, we will die.  But it is only a phase.  Like the seed sprouts, grows, becomes a tree and then provides fruits and also shadow, and in the similar way, the life is a cycle and is concerned with the body.  This body, of course, consists of matters, which extinguishes over a passage of time.  But the soul has no shackle; it never gets worn out.  In this great world, you have arrived as a visitor; you are supposed to carry out your different roles maintaining the moral code of conduct as far as possible.  You have no obligation or right to stay forever.  You may perform all your duties perfectly, but still you cannot obtain a chance to live eternally.  Also, you have no authority to create torture either on your life or compel others to suffer in their lives.  You must live life normally, doing your works, extend love to others, doing benevolence for other human beings and enjoy the divinity within.  You have no existence of your own, because the exit from your mortal body is just not possible.  The live vibration of the body based on which we perform various activities; will automatically go back to its origin once the body is destroyed completely.

In Hindu mythology, we believe that God exists in us and watches all our performances, guides us, corrects us as and when required.  If we are not able to understand His signal and just follow the opposite, we land into distress.  When we hear His advice, we become blissful.  God does not leave us during our lives and He even does not go anywhere.  The deceased person for whom we do final rites receives nothing.  These funeral rites are a process and we carry out the same just to satisfy our emotions. We must live qualitatively, but not quantitatively.  The days are not important related to our living. What is important that how much good work has been done by us.

Sitting within us, God wants us to perform, but sometimes in these performances, He measures our perseverance, stamina, ability to tolerate, how jealous we are and many more attributes.  Our this live performance  is known as divine play and it has always two characters to produce good and bad, positive and negative and ups and downs. The oscillations between these two types of characters provide the basis for all creations of His and His divine play. When the Creator ceases His divine play, these coalesce into mere existence.  Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.  This world is full of actions and reactions, which hold the cycle of life.  When the reaction is more prominent and vibrant, you cry for succor.

Thereafter, the cycle of life ends and death occurs. Your body exists, but the soul remains intact and enters into a new body. In the same way, the rebirth  happens when you leave the body. Our mind, the main part of our body is caught by Him.  After that, it is just a matter of time, when you arrive again, but in a different body.  Unless your soul gets very enlightened and unless you merge with God, both mentally and physically, you are bound to take another body in this world. It is a customary process when you are born; you have to leave the body one day.  In reality, no one goes anywhere, only the body gets deformed and the soul remains as it is.  Despite your enriched theoretical knowledge, you cannot see when the soul leaves the body.  You may believe that the soul goes away, but the soul remains in this universe only.  The body gets changed.  Our body is subject to wear and tear and so, after a passage of time, it withers away.  Even you try wholeheartedly to protect it, you cannot.  Knowing this philosophical aspect of life and death cycle, we still cling to the Maya for our body. We feel nothing about the fact that the body is subject to deformation and various changes.  When some of our beloved persons like our parents, siblings or even a close friend die, we feel bereaved because of our tremendous attachment.  We must recognize the fact that the death is nothing, but another kind  of transformation.  So, we must introspect for the origin.  If you are able to identify the root cause of our life and death, you will not perturb as you know when you die, where will you go?
